“The Thai artist Rikrit Tiravanja created the installation Community Cinema For a Quiet Intersection (Against Oldenburg) as part of the City of Architecture Festival in Glasgow, Scotland, in September 1999. He created a temporary outdoor cinema composed by four screens and accompanied by a Thai café right on the traffic intersection in a residential neighbourhood in Glasgow and after dusk showed films that had been chosen by the local community.”

Additional information
In 1994 a portfolio with nine prints of Peter Halley called “Exploding Cell” was published by Edition Schellmann. One of the prints is related to apparently a DIY computer print featured above.

Isa Genzken in an interview with Wolfgang Tillmans:
‘When I was photographing the hi-fi adverts I thought to myself, everyone has one of these towers at home. It’s the latest thing, the most modern equipment available. So a sculpture must be at least as modern and must stand up to it.’ Berlin, 2005

Nowadays Isa Genzken’s “Weltempfänger” count among her most sought-after works on the international art market.
